Website to help organizations predict disaster damage in real-time

Japan-based Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance has jointly set up a free website for organizations to predict the number of local buildings at risk during natural disasters in real-time, Asia Insurance Review reported citing sources. The website will use weather and seismic data to estimate the number of damaged buildings in each city following a catastrophe and help organizations to develop a response plan.
