German storms cause $730 million in insured losses

The German insurance association said that recent storms including a hailstorm in Munich caused more than €650 million ($730 million) in insured losses, Artemis.bm reports. A hailstorm struck Munich on June 10, while storm Frank struck Lower Saxony and Hesse on June 3 and storm Klaus hit Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Berlin and Brandenburg on June 12.
