Magnitude-6.0 quake strikes southwest China

A 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck the province of Sichuan in southwest China on June 17, damaging houses and infrastructure in the region, Channel News Asia reported citing sources. The quake damaged a major highway connecting Yibin and Xuyong County and killed 12 people.
