General insurance sector suffers from lack of actuaries

Fauzi Arfan, chairman of Indonesia's actuary association, said that the country's general insurance sector is facing a lack of actuaries due to several lines of business and different degrees of complexity, Asia Insurance Review reported. Mr. Arfan said that currently more than 650 actuaries operate in the country.
