AIG looks to expand China footprint

Insurer American International Group Inc. plans to expand its operations in China and focus on opportunities related to the Belt and Road Initiative, Shine.cn reported. Lisa Sun, president of AIG Insurance Co. China Ltd., said that the insurer will work with domestic digital players and other carriers to provide risk management services and coverage against natural disasters and political threats among other risks.
