UK fines more than 150 CFOs over accounting failures

The U.K.'s revenue and customs department has fined 152 chief financial officers and finance executives at large firms for tax accounting failures in the year ended March 31, Out-Law.com reported. Under the Senior Accounting Officer regime, the revenue and customs department can fine senior finance officers £5,000 ($6,340) if they fail to "account for their business' income and expenditure."
