UK fines more than 150 CFOs over accounting failures
Posted On: Jun. 13, 2019 6:25 AM CSTThe U.K.'s revenue and customs department has fined 152 chief financial officers and finance executives at large firms for tax accounting failures in the year ended March 31, Out-Law.com reported. Under the Senior Accounting Officer regime, the revenue and customs department can fine senior finance officers £5,000 ($6,340) if they fail to "account for their business' income and expenditure."
