GDPR-related notifications exceed 11,500

Research found that U.K. firms reported 11,562 data breaches to the Information Commissioner's Office surged in the first nine months after the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation in May 2018, Accountancy Daily reported. GDPR-related notification surged nearly five-fold from 400 in April 2018 to 1,700 in June 2018.
