Heavy rains and floods have destroyed 10,800 hectares of crops and hundreds of houses in the Jiangxi province in southeastern China, causing more than $382 million in direct economic losses, Reuters reported citing sources. The catastrophe damaged infrastructure including roads and bridges and caused power outages in the region of Guangxi.
