Floods inundate Sulawesi, damage infrastructure

Indonesia's National Board for Disaster Management said that recent floods have damaged infrastructure including bridges, roads and health facilities in three provinces in Sulawesi, The Jakarta Post reported. Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, the agency's spokesman, said that the floods have inundated thousands of hectares of rice and corn fields and houses in the region.
