African swine fever devastates farms across Asia

Dirk Pfeiffer, veterinary epidemiologist at City University of Hong Kong, said that African swine fever has spread throughout Asia, forcing local authorities to cull millions of pigs, Plant Based News reported citing sources. The disease, which has no cure, has spread across China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Mongolia, Cambodia and North Korea.
