Trade concerns force firms to expand sourcing options

A survey by U.K.-based research firm The Economist Intelligence Unit found that 37% of procurement professionals have developed new sourcing options due to risks such as Brexit-related uncertainty and the U.S.-China trade war, Supply Chain Dive reported. The survey found that about one-third of executives expect trade tensions to increase their procurement cost and supply chain complexity.
