Zurich appoints executive for customer office

Switzerland-based Zurich Insurance Group AG said Friday it has appointed former LEGO Group executive Conny Kalcher to head up a newly created customer office as part of its drive to improve customer experience across the organization.
Ms. Kalcher, who will be based in Zurich, will start her new role as chief customer officer on July 1, reporting directly to group CEO Mario Greco, Zurich said in a statement.
“The digital era is driving significant change and a transformation of customer experience in the marketplace. This is a transformation that has already begun, delivering a number of companywide initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and to drive profitable growth,” Mr. Greco said in the statement.
Ms. Kalcher joins Zurich from London- and Chicago-based innovation and analytics consultancy MindFolio Ltd., where she was partner since 2018. Prior to that, she held senior roles at Denmark-based The LEGO Group for two decades.
