Pork producers take $154-million swine fever hit

Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said that an African swine fever epidemic has cost the pork industry $154 million after the disease killed more than 2.2 million pigs, VN Express reported. Animal health officials said that the cost included fees for culling infected pigs and sanitization chemicals.
