European firms abandon UK supply chains over Brexit uncertainty

A survey found that manufacturing growth slowed in the United Kingdom across April and May while Brexit-related uncertainty forced major European companies to divert their supply chains away from the United Kingdom, Financial World reported. The survey by manufacturing organization Make UK and consultancy firm BDO L.L.P. found that factory output increased at the beginning of the year as manufacturers stockpiled goods to avoid Brexit-related supply chain disruption.
