Chinese insurers' solvency levels remain robust: Moody's

U.S.-based Moody's Investors Service Inc. said that China's insurance sector, including property/casualty insurers and reinsurers, remains well-capitalized with average solvency ratios exceeding 200%, Shine.cn reported. The ratings agency said that strong reinsurance growth was driven by nonlife insurers' non-motor business and need for risk diversification.
