BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Aon general counsel to retire in 2020

Peter Lieb, general counsel of Aon PLC, will retire from the brokerage on Dec. 31, 2020, and in the interim will transition to special legal adviser to CEO Greg Case by Dec. 31, 2019, Aon announced Tuesday.

Mr. Lieb joined Aon in 2009 and has also served as its company secretary since 2013. Prior to joining Aon, he held legal positions at various corporations including NCR Corp. and Symbol Technologies Inc.

Aon will conduct a search for his successor, the brokerage said in a statement.

According to his separation agreement, Mr. Lieb will be paid a special bonus of $1.8 million for duties carried out during the transition period, in addition to his $700,000 salary, subject to restrictive covenants and other conditions.
