Marsh, Eos partner on affinity platform

Eos Venture Partners Ltd. and Marsh LLC will collaborate to leverage the broker’s Bluestream digital broker platform for affinity business, Eos said Tuesday.

Affinity is a key area of focus for London-based Eos, its founding partner, Sam Evans, told Business Insurance in an email. Affinity partnerships will be important in developing new insurance models in terms of accessing and engaging new customer groups, he said.

“For a number of our portfolio companies, affinity is an important part of their business,” Mr. Evans said in his email. “Bluestream provides the underlying infrastructure, ability to engage with multiple partners, manage the insurance capacity on the back end and leverage the broader distribution reach of Marsh and is therefore a great way to accelerate growth and reach new markets.”

A cloud-based digital broker platform, Bluestream provides businesses a streamlined way to offer insurance products and services to their customers, contractors and employees, a Marsh spokeswoman told Business Insurance in an email.
