Wildfires force oil firm to shut operations

Wildfires in the Canadian province of Alberta forced oil and gas firm Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. to shut its operations in Pelican Lake and Woodenhouse, Bloomberg reported. Canadian Natural Resources evacuated all 240 people from the two production sites in northern Alberta due to wildfire risk.
