Wildfire cuts rail link between northwest and southern Canada

Canadian National Railway Co. said that wildfires have damaged a key rail bridge in Alberta, cutting the rail link used for shipping diesel fuel between the Northwest Territories and southern Canada, CBC News reported. The wildfires have also forced authorities to partially close Highway 1, which is the Northwest Territories' main road connection to the south.
