Hong Kong Airlines urged to improve safety measures

Japan has called on Hong Kong Airlines Ltd. to take measures to ensure aircraft safety after seven of its aircraft experienced parts falling off between May 26 and 29, South China Morning Post reported citing sources. Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said that at least one part of Hong Kong Airlines' aircrafts such as screws and light covers was missing upon arrival at its destination.
