Oil contamination clean-up, resumption could cost up to $1 billion

Traders and analysts said that oil contamination-related clean-up and resumption of normal deliveries through the Druzhba pipeline in Europe is likely to cost up to $1 billion, Baystreet reported citing sources. The traders said that oil contamination forced Russia to suspend supplies to refineries in Belarus, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Germany on April 20.
