Smart phone maker suspends production for Huawei

Singapore-based engineering company Flex Ltd. has partially suspended production at its Chinese plant in Zhuhai, which assembles smartphones for Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., due to U.S. sanctions, Nikkei Asian Review reported citing sources. The company stopped production and shipments to Huawei on May 23 after the United States imposed a trade ban on the Chinese tech giant.
