Firms lax over cyber security despite GDPR

U.K.-based Vanson Bourne Ltd. said that more than half of local businesses have not set up a cyber-resilience plan despite cyber security being a central part of the General Data Protection Regulation, IT Pro Portal reported. The research firm said that more than half of IT decision-makers expect a severe email-based cyber attack to hit their companies' operations and cause loss of data.
