China to relocate 80% of hazardous chemical producers

China plans to relocate more than 80% of its hazardous chemical production hubs by the end of 2020, after a recent fatal explosion near a densely populated residential area killed 78 people, Reuters reported citing sources. Chinese authorities said that the bulk of hazardous chemical production will be located in specialized industrial parks for better monitoring and control of threats.
