Drought hits more than 700,000 hectares of crops in China

China's provincial department of agriculture and rural affairs said that a drought has damged about 737,333 hectares of crops in Yunnan Province in the country's southwest, Xinhua reported. The department said that the drought had damaged 232,353 hectares of crops and destroyed 13,020 hectares.
