South Korean authorities said that more than 650 people suffered health problems after chemical leakages occurred at Hanwha Total Petrochemical Co. Ltd.'s plant in Seosan on May 17 and May 18, Hazardex reported citing sources. More than 100 tons of styrene monomer leaked from a ruptured tank, affecting villages up to four kilometers from the plant.
