EU ‘could undermine competitiveness’ of UK insurers

Boris Johnson, former Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, said that Brussels could undermine the competitiveness of British insurers and brokers through damaging regulations if the country does not reach the right agreement with the European Union, Compelo reports. Mr. Johnson has urged the United Kingdom not to pursue a soft Brexit because it would be left with the "worst of both worlds" by remaining tied to the EU's rules.
