BMA looks to create collateralized reinsurer class

The Bermuda Monetary Authority is looking to create a new class of insurer for collateralized reinsurance underwriting, Artemis reports. The authority said that the collateralized insurance and reinsurance class is in response to the increasing sophistication and scope of the insurance-linked securities market.
