Scor unveils property/casualty appointments

Scor SE said Wednesday it has promoted John Jenkins to CEO of reinsurance operations in the Americas for its global property/casualty division, based in Chicago, amid several new appointments.

Mr. Jenkins reports to Jean-Paul Conoscente, who was appointed CEO of the reinsurer’s global property/casualty division effective April 1 following the retirement of Victor Peignet, the French reinsurer’s former CEO of global property/casualty, Scor said in a statement.

Mr. Jenkins replaces Mr. Conoscente, and Michel Blanc continues as CEO of reinsurance, a Scor spokeswoman said.

Frank Coglianese, who was most recently chief underwriting officer for U.S. property/casualty treaty, has also been promoted to chief underwriting officer, property/casualty treaty for the Americas, Scor said in the statement.

Nick Nudo, who was most recently senior vice president, team leader of general liability U.S treaty, has been promoted to chief underwriting officer for U.S. property/casualty treaty reporting to Mr. Coglianese, Scor said in the statement.

Maura Haynes becomes senior vice president, team leader of general liability U.S. treaty, and will continue reporting to Mr. Nudo, the statement said.

Ms. Haynes was previously vice president, senior general liability U.S. treaty underwriter, Scor said in the statement.

Ms. Haynes will be based in New York, while Mr. Jenkins, Mr. Coglianese and Mr. Nudo will be based in Chicago, the spokeswoman confirmed.

The appointments are effective Wednesday, the statement said.
