Cyber risks to become bigger risks than nat cat for insurers: SCOR

Denis Kessler, CEO and chairman of French reinsurer SCOR S.E., said that cyber risks will soon become bigger risks than natural catastrophes for the insurance sector, Bloomberg reports. In the worst case scenario, the cyber risk could exceed $600 billion per year, compared with an annual cost of $230 billion for natural catastrophes, Kessler said.
