Cyber insurance uptake rises among Australian, NZ businesses

A survey by U.K.-based consultancy firm BDO L.L.P. found that 37% of companies in Australia and New Zealand have purchased cyber insurance in 2018, up from 28% in 2017, The Daily Swig reported. The survey found that around half of the firms purchased a standalone specialist policy while the rest purchased cyber insurance as an add-on cover to an existing policy.
