Munich Re appoints Linus Phoon as CEO of Singapore branch

Germany-based Munich Reinsurance Co. has appointed Linus Phoon as chief executive of its Singapore branch to oversee the reinsurer's operations in Southeast Asia, Asia Insurance Review reported. Mr. Phoon will report to Roland Eckl, chief executive of Asia Pacific at Munich Re.
