BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.
To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

On April 15, Liberty Mutual announced it has agreed to acquire the global surety and credit reinsurance operations of AmTrust Financial Services Inc., including AmTrust Surety, AmTrust Insurance Spain, Nationale Borg and Nationale Borg Reinsurance, subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions. In March, Liberty Mutual said it would sell its Pembroke Managing Agency Ltd., Ironshore Europe operations and Visionary (Dubai) units to Hamilton Insurance Group Ltd.
The two transactions were “aimed at optimizing our insurance portfolio,” and the sale of the Pembroke syndicate and Ironshore Europe business “eliminates duplicate efforts and thereby streamlines our global specialty business,” Mr. Long said.
