Russian airline's flight crash-lands, 41 people killed
Posted On: May. 7, 2019 6:38 AM CSTAeroflot-Russian Airlines P.J.S.C.'s passenger jet crash-landed at Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow on May 5, killing 41 people out of 78 passengers on board, CNN reported citing sources. Flight SU 1492 skidded down the runway to make an emergency landing after a lightning strike and burst into flames in its rear section on impact, the sources said. The Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft was flying from Moscow to the city of Murmansk in the Arctic region.
