Experts said that eastern and northern European countries are likely to face drought again this year after it caused up to $3.3 billion worth of crop damage in Germany in 2018, DW.com reported. Sergiy Moroz, an official at the European Environmental Bureau, said that the frequency and intensity of droughts is likely to increase due to climate change.
