Lloyd’s syndicate insurer to open new office in Sydney

Swiss Lloyd’s syndicate insurer Canopius A.G. plans to open a new office in Sydney to expand its operations in Asia- Pacific, Asia Insurance Review reported. Canopius plans to cover small and medium-sized enterprises in Australia and New Zealand and offer wholesale direct insurance and facultative as well as reinsurance treaty business. The insurer has appointed Claudio Saita to head the new office.
