Mexico sets up national guard to curb cargo theft

Mexico has set up a national security force to safeguard highways in four states as cargo thefts cost businesses in the region nearly $5 billion per year, Mexico News Daily reported. Mexico's national trucking association said that the states of Puebla, Michoacan, Mexico and Tlaxcala account for 75% of all crimes against shippers per year.
