Ping An Insurance's net income booms

Ping An Insurance (Group) Co. of China Ltd.'s net profit jumped 77% to 45.5 billion Chinese yuan ($6.7 billion) in the first quarter from CNY 25.7 billion in the first quarter of 2018, Reuters reported. Gross written premiums grew more than 8.4% year over year to CNY 274.4 billion.
