Pilot strike costs SAS $8 million a day

A pilots' strike has forced Sweden-based SAS AB (publ) to cancel more than 2,800 flights since April 26, reported. Denmark-based Sydbank A/S said that the strike is likely to cost the airline up to $8 million per day. The airline is canceling 1,213 flights on April 29 and April 30 after its pilots in Denmark, Sweden and Norway went on strike over salary and working hours.
