Insurers pay hotel $1 million to cover terror-related damage

Sri Lanka-based Ceylinco General Insurance Ltd. and U.S.-based Chubb Ltd. have jointly paid $1 million to Shangri-La Hotel Colombo worth of advance insurance claims to cover terror-related damage, Asia Insurance Reported. Suicide bombers attacked the Shangri-La Hotel during breakfast service on April 22, killing three staff members and several guests at the hotel.
