A report by the Data Security Council of India found that cyber insurance uptake increased 40% year over year to 350 policies in 2018 driven by cyber threats and security-related challenges, Business Standard reported. The report found that cyber premiums total up to $14 million in India per year and insured amounts total up to $200 million.
