Storm Hannah struck Ireland on April 26, causing power outages and disrupting water supplies and transport across the country, Independent.ie reported. ESB Electric Ireland Ltd. said that wind gusts uprooted trees and damaged power lines in several provinces including Munster, Clare and Kerry. Authorities also cancelled a number of flights at Shannon Airport due to extreme weather.
