Philippines checks eligibility for quake insurance payouts

Carlos Dominguez, the Philippine's finance secretary, said that the government is checking if it can get an insurance payout under U.S.-based The World Bank Group's program after two earthquakes caused damage across the country, Bloomberg reported citing sources. A 6.4-magnitude quake struck Eastern Samar on April 23 while a 6.1-magnitude quake struck Pampanga on April 22. T
