African swine fever has spread to all 31 Chinese mainland provinces since the first case was confirmed in August 2018 and is threatening to disrupt supply chains for pork, South China Morning Post reported. Dutch financial services company Coöperatieve Rabobank U.A. said that up to 200 million pigs could be culled or could die from the disease during the epidemic.
