Arch Insurance buys UK underwriting agency

Arch Insurance (UK) Ltd. has acquired specialist underwriting agency Obelisk Underwriting Ltd. as part of its plans to expand in the United Kingdom, ITIJ.com reported. Obelisk Underwriting will become part of the recently formed Arch UK Regional Division and will focus on commercial property/casualty and new specialist lines including professional indemnity, cyber and terrorism.
