Strike hits operations at Amsterdam, Rotterdam ports

Dutch port terminal operator Svitzer EuroMed B.V.'s crew went on strike for the second time on April 10, hampering operations at the ports of Amsterdam and Rotterdam, World Maritime News reported. Seafarers' union Nautilus International said that the workers decided to take action after negotiations on a new collective bargaining agreement between unions and Svitzer failed.
