Fire at pharmaceutical plant kills 10 people

A fire broke out at China-based Qilu Tianhe Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd.'s plant in Shandong province on April 15, suffocating to death at least 10 workers, Business Standard reported citing sources. The fire occurred in the pharmaceutical plant's basement after welding sparks ignited a heat-transferring substance. The accident is the fourth major industrial catastrophe to occur in the country since March.
