Cyclone Idai's damage tab exceeds $2 billion

U.S.-based The World Bank Group said that cyclone Idai is likely to have caused more than $2 billion worth of damage across Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe, The Guardian reported. The bank said that the cyclone, which struck the region on March 14, damaged infrastructure connecting the Mozambican port of Beira with Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe. T
