Achmea buys Aegon's property/casualty portfolio in Slovakia

Dutch insurer Achmea B.V.'s unit is buying Aegon N.V.'s property/casualty portfolio in Slovakia as part of Achmea's plans to expand its operations in the country, Xprimm.com reported. Robert Otto, a member of Achmea's board, said that the insurer plans to set up online channels and boost digitization to expand its nonlife operations.
