CCR Re eyes more ILS transactions, hub in Paris

Bruno Le Maire, France's Minister of Economy and Finance, said that government-owned reinsurer Caisse Centrale de Reassurance S.A.'s recent collateralized reinsurance transaction could open the door for more such transaction in the country, Artemis.bm reports. Mr. Le Maire said that European insurers and reinsurers could look to Paris to tap into opportunities in the insurance-linked securities sector.
